Radio Presenter

Ralph Winser

My passion for music started at an early age when my parents gave me a toy Piano for my 5th birthday, (I’m still unable to play the piano BTW). Growing up in the late ’60s and early 70’s listening to a wide range of musical tastes from my families record collections, my 2 brothers’ love of Classical music and Deep Purple and Pink Floyd, my Dads love of Shirley Bassey, Bert Kampfert, James Last and my Mums passion for the ’40s and 50’s dance band era.

Radio Presenter

Steve Dack

First discovered proper music [Rock] at school when someone played me the first Led Zeppelin album, I was blown away. Played around with mobile disco’s in the 70’s then was asked to join my local Hospital Radio Station in Kings Lynn where I learnt the basics of radio, not much chance to play rock music but was good to develop presentation skills.

Radio Presenter

Shane Carlson

“The origins of Shane’s radio career can be traced right back to the early 1980’s when he started presenting on Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio (formerly Radio Park Sound) where has was later to become Programme Controller.
