Background

Radio Presenter

Colin Noble

I made radio shows in my bedroom on a reel to reel tape recorder and one record player, talking as I changed the records. The theme tune I used, was beware of the dog by Georgie Fame and I still carry a copy with me now, just in case I need it. The next thought was how can I get people to listen to my music... so I became a mobile DJ the usual things wedding’s, party’s, basically anywhere I could play music.

Radio Presenter

Dominic Press

My name is Dominic Press, or Doctor Rock as I was once christened, and a big welcome to A Little Bit Of Everything. I've been into music from a very early age, and in fairness not just Rock music. It was before my teens really that the band Journey caught my attention, Escape then Frontiers, wonderful stuff.

Radio Presenter

Gav Griffiths

The PowerDimension is two hours of the best Metal and Rock tracks I can put together for you every week. I love this genre as its so diverse yet so many people miss out on it because of the word (Rock). Put the doubts aside and come join me every Thursday because i guarantee your missing out on some of the best tracks, melodies and beats there are. Rock, Metal, Grunge, Punk its all in there but also some of the greatest ballads of all time come from Rock legends, so stop and listen!

Radio Presenter

Ian Dunbar

Firstly, I am not a real doctor; certainly not a medical doctor. But if pushed, I will have a look at it for you. Anyway I have slid into ARFM through the back door (as any good scouser would) and thanks to forming friendships with ARFM stalwarts over the last few years, a chance comment has led me here; The Antidote Rock Show.

Radio Presenter

John Richards

Transfixed by Alice Cooper in 1972 with Roxy Music as the support act, what a start to live gigs. My nan really did think it was a little old lady, well that's what I told her anyway. Next stop Pink Floyd in 72' at Earls Court pre Dark Side Of The Moon and I was still just a nipper, so from that age I was hooked.

Radio Presenter

Paul Chamberlain

Paul Chamberlain’s transition of musical interest from pop and glam rock began in 1973 when he heard the late Alan (Fluff) Freeman play Hendrix's 'Star Spangled Banner' one Saturday afternoon on the BBC. At a impressionable 14 years of age, a flirtation with progressive rock followed, particularly with 'Emerson, Lake & Palmer', 'King Crimson' 'Pink Floyd' and 'Yes', until a year later a school friend played Paul 'Burn', the then new album from Deep Purple, and since then his thirst for rock has been unquenchable.

Radio Presenter

Ralph Winser

My passion for music started at an early age when my parents gave me a toy Piano for my 5th birthday, (I’m still unable to play the piano BTW). Growing up in the late ’60s and early 70’s listening to a wide range of musical tastes from my families record collections, my 2 brothers’ love of Classical music and Deep Purple and Pink Floyd, my Dads love of Shirley Bassey, Bert Kampfert, James Last and my Mums passion for the ’40s and 50’s dance band era.

Radio Presenter

Richard Norris

Growing up in the 1960's with two older sisters who were always listening to music either on their radios or with the latest single they had bought, so I got introduced to music and radio at a very early age.
